It all
started in the early 2000's with our founder, David
Watson. At the time, David was a successful executive in
the insurance business, however, his parents were aging
and in need of significant care. After months of
commitment to his parents [who lived more than 2 hours
away], David realized that he could not devote the
necessary time his parents required; without greatly
impacting his career and personal life. That's when
David made the decision to consider senior care services
as an option that both he and his parents felt
comfortable. |

During
David's due-diligence into the array of options
available, he quickly realized that the business of
Senior Homecare was not only well suited for his
parents, but also an emerging industry. David knew
he was not the only one to have aging parents, and
he recognized that within the coming years, the
senior care industry was going to prosper like never
before. David felt that the phenomenon once known as
"the baby boom" would soon evolve into the
"senior boom". David became amazed by the
sheer demand and potential for senior homecare
services.
While
continuing his tenure as an insurance executive, David
began to seriously consider a change in vocation. He
simply could not stop pondering the potential the
senior care industry presented. Moreover, it was a
business he could be proud of. After all, he would be
helping people in the same predicament as his parents.
That was when David made up his mind; he was going
into the Senior Care Business! |

Like many entrepreneurs, David
contemplated various options on how to start-up his
senior care venture. Being new to the senior care
industry, David initially considered the purchase of a
franchise. His preference was to start his business
with a system already in place. He did not want to
learn things the hard way and develop everything from
scratch. David understood that franchising offered the
best odds for success. Franchising provided everything
David needed. However, there was a feeling that David
could not ignore. - At the time, there were no
franchise opportunities that completely appealed to
David. Not to say that the franchisors and franchisees
that David met were not successful, many were very
successful. However, David believed that he could be
better in terms of how he operated and ultimately
profited. That was when David made the definitive
decision to start his own independent homecare company
under the name: Premier Homecare Services, Inc.
David realized he was not an
expert when he first started Premier Homecare
ServicesSM, but he made it his top priority to become
an expert. He began to read and research intensively
about the industry and "rub elbows" with
industry peers to further his knowledge and
experience. Before long, David had acquired a
respectable number of clients and expertise. The
tables had turned; the people, who were once David's
mentors, were now seeking his business advice. At such
time, David felt that his business was ready - ready
to reach new levels. David leased a large office space
and recruited some of the best minds he could find
within the homecare service community. David believed
with everything in his heart that he was going to
enjoy success, he had worked hard, had the right
people and it was the right time!
Today, Premier Homecare
ServicesSM is one of the most successful senior care
service companies in all of the markets it serves. Now
the time has come to share the experience and success
through franchising.
